I needed a air pump on my land cruiser I rang up and gave the lady my number plate and vin number she said ok it will be $700 the day comes around and the mechanic told me that I booked my car in wrong and the quote went up to $1800 as my timing belt needs replaced ( it was replaced 1 year ago so no it doesn’t) so he Quickly changed the price to $1100 I said what he said it was because I booked my car in as a 4.2 not a 4.7 I informed him that I gave the lady my rego and vin and he said no you didn’t ( I should have said go away there but I needed my car ) so ok by the end of the day it was still not fixed he told me he had to get another part and will be back the next day anyway 3 days later I had enough and rang the office and then he came out and made me start the car and I did when I did because he didn’t do things up under the bonnet my fan belt got shredded he said it’s ok I will fix I know it’s my problem as my dad took over and then he fixed every thing 1 week later he rang me and told me I still owe $118 for the fan belt please just don’t bother with them
