Misleading product description and unprofessional customer service
Similarly to other customers and previous reviews - I ordered a DeLonghi kettle which arrived with a EU plug and a cumbersome adaptor, which had to be attached and screwed into the plug. It looked more like a job for an electrician than an ordinary and non qualified consumer. The worst part is that the non UK plug wasn’t mentioned anywhere on their website, including the product technical specification. The process of returning the kettle on this basis and obtaining a full refund, was long and frustrating, due to poor communication on the part of the company’s customer service department. We were misled and treated with contempt when contacting Coffee Friend stating that should we had known the kettle didn’t have a UK plug, we would have never ordered it.
