Misleading & Unethical Billing
Misleading, Unresponsive, and Overpriced – Avoid! I had a frustrating and disappointing experience with Upgrow. After signing up, I was charged $99 for the first month without receiving any invoice, receipt, or order confirmation. I immediately tried to cancel but found no option to manage or delete my account. The only way to reach them was through their platform’s message form and by emailing their support team—neither of which received any response for days. Eventually, I did get replies through the platform’s chat, but they seemed automated, likely AI-driven, and offered no real help. Despite my attempts to cancel, I was charged $149 for the second month and $299 for the third—without consent or proper communication. Thankfully, I reported this to my bank, and they are now helping me dispute the charges. This whole experience felt shady and exploitative. I strongly recommend avoiding Upgrow—there’s no transparency, no real support, and the billing practices are deeply unethical.
