Wonderful Service & Great Car Selection
I was recommended to rent from Lava from my hotel across the street, Marriott. It was my first trip to Iceland from Washington D.C. and I was interested in driving into Reykjavík, and they let me know it would be about $120 ONE WAY! So, I went across the street to inquire about a rental and they were fully booked. PLEASE RENT A CAR IN ADVANCE! Nevertheless, Jon & a servicemember took the time to accomodate me for this one time with a gorgeous ruby red Mitsubishi and I am extremely humbled and grateful. They were gracious, explained my insurance coverage options thoroughly, even how to get a discount on the petrol, what type to use, and ultimately, set the tone for my memorable time in Iceland. I have never met a more beautiful and kind team. My return for the car was quick and seamless. As soon as you are done reading this, BOOK YOUR CAR RENTAL ONLINE FROM HERE!
