Good experience but areas to improve on
Better tracking of delivery would be appreciated. I ordered Sunday and received an email on Wednesday to say that Ballymount would handle my purchase and then on Friday I received an email to say it was ready for dispatch and would be with me within 5 days. It arrived an hour or two after the email. So while 5 days delivery is okay (but could be less) the gripe is with the less than reliable tracking. Most people don't work from home 5 days a week and if someone needs to be present for the delivery then more greater reliability of the tracking is needed. The delivered fence panels were okay. One of them had a bit of dry rot already on the side which I wasn't impressed with but it might be okay. It's on a part that will slot into the concrete posts anyway. Also compared to the panels originally fitted with the property these seem less durable and the finish is not smooth. But having had panels from another store this just seems to be the way they're provided now. The web sales team were quick to respond to emails and very helpful and so too was the delivery driver. So overall the service from staff was great but maybe some investment needed in logistics. I'd definitely purchase from again.
