Thank you Rob!
After several frustrating and futile calls to Zen (tick for having a phone number though - one better than Openreach) as I had been directed at every turn to "your service provider" by Openreach's website, my plight was seen by Rob in Customer Excellence. He was indeed excellent albeit with limited clout as, unsurprisingly, Openreach make it just as difficult for the SPs to contact them as they do for their customers. He maintained contact with me throughout the process to ensure that my wifi was operational in the end.
