I accidentally self-excluded from my Stake account without withdrawing my funds first. After that, I requested permanent account cancellation, as instructed, in order to begin the refund process. I was told the funds would be returned within 72 hours of cancellation. However, it's been over a week, and I still haven't received my money or any updates on the refund status.
