Cruised on the Arvia
Cruised on the Arvia 22nd June to 6th July 2025. What an amazing ship, could not fault anything with it. From boarding at our allocated time to getting to our room was quick and easy. Beautiful clean cabin and our cabin steward was a lovely person and kept our room spotless, the tea tray stocked up and supplied the biscuits every day along with some towel sculptures. Staff throughout the ship were professional and friendly even though they worked long hours and miss their families back home. Food was plentiful and a good selection of choices wherever you go and in the Horizon the food was always hot. The Olive Grove was lovely. The food in the snack bar by the pool was delicious with a great choice. Entertainment was good and only a couple of times did we have to book, other times we went straight in. I would advice booking the 10/7 club as soon as you can if you want an earlier show. Rylan and his band are absolutely amazing and not to be missed. The entertainment team were brilliant with their quizzes and the Battle of Brodies was good fun. The gym is massive and has every bit of equipment you could think of. Weather was perfect and although there are plenty of sun beds around I must say that some people have no consideration for others and P&O need to enforce the rules a bit more. I don’t like to sunbathe and could always find a nice chair or lounger in the shade. Although there were quite a few children on board, they all seemed to be quite well behaved and were having a good time. All in all we had a fabulous time, met some lovely people and will be doing it all again In the near future. Well done P&O Arvia and all your lovely and conscientious staff.
