Avoid, Avoid, Avoid! Still Waiting – No Product, No Service, No Accountability
I placed an order with Car Mats UK on the 3rd of March 2025 for mats costing me €74.97 and, unfortunately, never received the item. I received one response on the 27th of March—after three emails—promising dispatch by the 4th of April. Since then, despite several follow-up emails, I’ve had no further communication. On the 14th of April, I gave the company a final opportunity to provide an update or issue a refund within seven days. Once again, no reply. I had no option but to take time out of my busy day to escalate the matter to my bank and request a chargeback, which has thankfully now been awarded. I have now also reported them to trading standards. They have no phone number—or at least none that works. From what I can tell, they’ve stopped using phones entirely, and now I see why. You can’t speak to a human being. Everything is automated, and if you reply within five days after sending an email, you’re pushed back to the bottom of the queue. Absolutely disgraceful! This whole experience has been not only frustrating but a complete waste of time. I would give minus stars if I could. Awful experience. Awful customer service. Awful company. Never again. Avoid, avoid, avoid! Car Mats UK, if you’re reading this—do better. FFS!
