Very poor communication

Poor communication - no one employed by this retailer made any attempt to contact me - in regards my purchase of £350 !! No human being made any attempt to write to me or telephone me !

BE WARNED !! WHEN YOU MAKE A CLAIM you WILL WISH YOU HAD NEVER BOUGHT THEIR POLICY

PLEASE BE WARNED YOU WILL BE LIABLE FOR THE SURGEON FEE IF IT IS OVER £2233 ! my surgeon charged £4000 for the operation ( this was NOT a central London hospital fee ) YOU WILL BE LIABLE FOR YOUR SURGEON’S FEE IF IT IS OVER £2233 - please refer below to extract from policy : Therefore the amount of £1,767 would be shortfalled to you to settle as the heart surgeon has charged over the reasonable and customary fee of £2233. TRULY AWFUL - AVOID THIS INSURANCE COMPANY - NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE WHEN MAKING A CLAIM DELAYED AUTHORISING HOSPITAL SURGERY FOR 2 MONTHS - FINALLY ADVISED 1 HOUR BEFORE ADMISSION !!! SERIOUS DATA BREACH : REVEALED PERSONAL MEDICAL DETAILS OF ANOTHER CUSTOMER !! MANY POLICY LOOPHOLES / CAVEATS & OBSTACLES WHEN IT COMES TO MAKING VARIOUS ASPECTS OF CLAIM - VAGUE ABOUT DEFINITIONS OF BENEFIT RESTRICTIONS - MAKE NO ATTEMPT TO OFFER HELP WITH BENEFITS EXAMPLE : REFUSE TO PAY CRITICAL PAYMENT OF £2000 FOR HEART SURGERY UNLESS SPECIFIC HEART VALVE !!!! VERY SLOW TO AUTHORISE A CLAIM CAUSING ENORMOUS STRESS PARTICULARLY WHEN YOU CAN LEAST AFFORD TO COPE WITH THE STRESS AWAITING SURGERY - EXTREMELY POOR ADMINISTRATION ON SUCH A CRITICALLY IMPORTANT OCCASION IF YOU WANT PEACE OF MIND I WOULD HAVE AVOIDED THIS PMI COMPANY I deeply regret having to convey an overall VERY POOR experience with this PMI company after many incidents of too many POLICY LOOPHOLES and caveats leading them to avoid paying claims or paying half of the invoices already paid upfront they were quick to quote policy “ get out “ clauses but slow to advise the customer of benefits in advance exposed private medical data and the personal details of another customer This insurer appears to be the only one that does not recognise heart surgery as a critical illness unless specific heart valve SUMMARY - if you want peace of mind when buying PMI it is best AVOID this small company and buy from the larger insurers
