I was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and COPD
I was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation about 20 years ago and with COPD three years ago and as I approached my 79th birthday I was noticing that I was having noticeable shortness of breath and my energy level was way down, so I saw an advertisement for Carda and being the skeptic that I am thought sure they are a usual get the money scam. Well I filled out the form and sent it to them and figured that I would get a call from a fast talking person in another country. Well I was very wrong. Within an hour from the time I sent in the form I got a call from Molly at Carda and she asked the right questions, gave me the right answers and was not putting pressure on me in any way. I thought about what she said and looked at the info she had told me about. So I signed up, they handled all the paperwork. In about three or four days I recieved a package with a BP machine, a pulse oximeter, a heart rate sensor and an iPad loaded with my info and the app. I then got an email from Justy, my Clinical Exercise Physiologist, telling me who she was and how the program would work. She has helped me correct bad breathing habits that I was not aware of. She monitors my session and she caught a problem with my heart rate that I was not aware of, she was in contact with my cardiologist and he was able to adjust medication to correct the problem. And while I was doing that she kept in contact to see how I was doing. I am not one for regimented exercise, I play golf 3-4 times a week and work in the yard for my exercise, but I do look forward to the three sessions every week. I recommend Carda and especially Justy. I am feeling much better and having fewer shortness of breath episodes after the first 6 weeks than I expected.
