Untrustworthy Company — Bans Loyal Players Without Cause
I’ve been playing on VGW’s sites, Chumba Casino and Luckyland Slots, for over 5 years, starting back during the pandemic. I was an extremely loyal player who regularly participated in their sweepstakes promotions — both by purchasing gold coins (and receiving sweepstakes entries as a free gift) and by using the AMOE method (mail-in requests). I was only a few days away from hitting a 1,000-day streak on Luckyland for collecting my daily bonus. For years, I was a happy customer and would have recommended them to anyone. Unfortunately, things have changed. VGW permanently banned me from their sites under false pretenses. The real reason? Because I was a consistent AMOE participant — a regular “envelope writer.” Since these are sweepstakes, not gambling platforms, they are legally required to offer a free method of entry. However, if they punish or ban players who choose AMOE instead of constantly spending money, then they are not honoring the spirit of sweepstakes law. Yes, their Terms of Service state they can close accounts at their discretion, but using that as a shield doesn’t make it professional or fair. Players who follow every rule to the letter are still being banned. If you use AMOE, it’s not a question of if you’ll be banned, but when. Don’t just take my word for it — check their BBB page, where countless complaints cite being banned despite playing by the rules. There are petitions online, and entire Facebook groups of people sharing the same story. The pattern is obvious, and it shows this company cannot be trusted. My advice: DO NOT spend your money here, and don’t waste time writing envelopes either. Even if you’re loyal, your account can disappear tomorrow without warning. Choose a more transparent and trustworthy company.
