4 thefts in my stateroom within 9 days on board
An expensive roller-pen from MontBlanc Meisterstück was stolen when I was out for breakfast, then again some sweets and finally my Mikael Kors sunglasses in my bathroom when I was offshore. I filed 2 complaints at the customer relation desk without any result. After the last complaint the day before disembarquement, they sent security staff to my stateroom and one of them found immediately my sunglasses hidden on a high shelve behind the life jackets. It was obvious at the reaction of the security team that this kind of theft was well known. Whereas they could easily know with their medaillion contactless system, who and at which time someone entered in my stateroom, I never heard again from them. The evening of my return, I noticed that a special swiss pocket knife had also disappeared from my toilet bag during my stay on the ship. No compensation was offered in spite of the fact that this kind of theft is not covered of my home or travel insurance. I have made plenty of cruises during the last 15 years : this never happened before. In addition the quality was not comparable to Celebrity Cruise (my previous cruises) as far as food, show and fitness room is concerned. All the guests having sailed with Celebrity cruise before I discussed with, shared my opinion.
