Overall great, but could use some flexibility
It was a busy, fun filled adventure. While I dont mind busy, I wish we would have spent more time at some locations. We often spent a few hours getting somewhere to only have 30 minutes to zip through and barely see anything. Weather should be a consideration. We were poured on at one location, making the excursion a waste of everyone's time, when we could have applied that time to an indoor aquarium later that day that we barely were able to make it through before we had to leave. We were more interested in that, paid our own pocket money and had to run through it vs an outdoor castle that we got completely soaking wet and don't even know what it was or why we were there bc it was so rushed. Slow down when weather conflicts and combine items for a more enjoyable experience. The hotels were good, food was good. The airlines wouldn't let anyone sit together, which is a big deal on a 14 hour flight. I would like to see a way to check in ahead to prevent that. We had to check in as a group at the airport and were assigned all the leftover middle seats. The kids wanted to sit together and a few parents were with disabled children and the airline refused to accommodate for our needs. It would be nice to have ability to check in ahead, pick our seats and avoid that. A 14 hour flight is a big deal for anyone, much less when you can't even sit next to your child. Especially one with special needs. That doesnt seem like a lot to ask, but American Airlines wouldn't budge and were downright rude about asking. Appreciate the guide, local guides and having everything planned out. Overall, it was a great trip and loved the experience. I would love to go on another EF Tours if it weren't so expensive.
