The NCP app is Crap. Pay when you get there
The NCP app is flawed and only tells you half the story. I got utterly screwed trying to be organised and pre-pay. I rarely go into Manchester and get anxious going into barrierless car parks. The app tells you that they give you a beneficial rate. They don't. What they don't tell you is that if you just turn up at night and don't pre-book, you can park for half the price of the app price, on a flat night rate. On questioning Customer services, they didn't want to know telling you that it is all there in the T's & C's online...who has the time to go through all the masses of conditions when booking a parking space in a multi-storey? Utterly inflexible customer services and have no sympathy when raising a perfectly valid point. Bloody scandalous, ruthless and money grabbing organisation. Will never use the NCP app again. Thanks for the reply but I’m still significantly out of pocket, further lining those of NCP. Giving lip service saying you will look into my comments gives me no promise of reimbursement to me. From experience this is merely a standard corporate reply with no intention to help or recompense. Sorry , but it’s what happens.
