Terrible!!!
Terrible!!! I'm 91 years old, with spinal stenosis, sensory ataxia and severe arthritis in both hands. Walking and balance are my main challenges, and so I decided to invest in a pair of superior walking sticks from Health and Care with handles specially designed to accommodate arthritic hands. On receipt, I unpacked and extended the left hand stick to test it's suitably; unfortunately and sadly the design of the handle just didn't work with my particular disfigurement, and so I reduced the stick to it's length on arrival, and followed Health and Care's return procedure to obtain a refund. Health and Care have responded by refusing a refund, stating that where I extended the stick to test it there are scratches and "gouges" which render the item unacceptable for refund. This response, rather than acknowledging that the disfigurement is due to a design fault, is appalling, and I have reported the matter to the Consumers Association ('Which") for their attention.
