International buyers beware!
International buyers beware! I bought a pair of shoes and paid my shipping fees to the company. When my shoes were delivered there was an additional $34 COD shipping fee tacked on. They tried to argue with me that this was an import / duty fee, however when I contacted Canada Customs they assured me that this was in fact not a fee from them. It was, in fact, a shipping charge which Fitness Footwear will not acknowledge as such and so I am on the hook for it. I will not be ordering from them again. I did receive my shipment in a timely manner and got exactly what I ordered. Shopping and checking out was very easy. When I contacted the company about the added fees, they were very quick to respond, however they did continue to aver that the fee was a customs charge, when clearly it was not. I shared the shipping label with them so they could see that it was not an import fee, but to no avail. I understand they clearly state they are not responsible for import and duty fees, but this was clearly a fee charged for shipping.
