Invaluable support.
After struggling unsuccessfully for four months to resolve a complex issue with our energy company, we resorted to contacting the Ombudsman and, from then on, never looked back. The Ombudsman team provided deep knowledge of energy companies' systems and a swift understanding of our issue. Their communication with us, both by phone and via their portal was excellent, and they kept us in touch with the discussions they were having with the energy company right the way through the process. Their remedial actions were both fair and clear-headed and the energy company upheld all required actions in the end. Without the Ombudsman's excellent service, we would still likely be in what was an incredibly stressful and uncertain situation with an energy company whose payment and billing systems had broken down. We would highly recommend using the Ombudsman service if you are in need and, if you do so, make sure you provide them with clear and rational information about your problem right from the start. That makes it much easier for them to know if they can help.
