Dishonest Practices and Terrible Customer Service
Lyca has proven to be a dishonest provider with terrible, unhelpful, and even rude customer service. I suspect their advertising might not even be legal. I initially chose Lyca because of their €10 for 28 days promotion. I enabled auto-renewal as required and even have a screenshot to prove it. However, that wasn’t enough. Without any mention in their terms, they apparently require you to re-enter your card information after registration to maintain the offer. Even after reluctantly activating the €20 bundle without any promotional discount, I continued receiving misleading SMS messages claiming there were better offers available, such as €1/month. Unsurprisingly, these offers turned out to be false advertising as well. When I reached out to customer service, they blamed me for issues during signup and registration and told me to ignore the misleading SMS messages. When I asked for a document outlining the steps to properly activate the plan, they admitted no such document exists. I’m leaving Lyca now. They’ve lost me as a customer and the rest of my family as well. Be cautious if you’re considering their services.
