An incredible Borneo adventure with Audley
My wife and I have been to over 80 countries and all 7 continents, and we usually do all the research and book our itineraries ourselves, but when we decided to go to Borneo to see orangutans and rainforest wildlife, we were clueless as to where to start and where to go. We decided to do what we rarely do - and use a travel agency. We researched agencies with Malaysia Borneo trips, and decided on Audley. This was the first time we used Audley, and are so glad that we did. They had their Malaysia specialist Alix Macaluso contact us, and she was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Being in California and Audley being in Boston, we arranged a videoconference, so got to meet Alix via Zoom. She spent a lot of time answering our questions (and we had many), and providing some really helpful info on our options and some other travelers' feedback on their Borneo trips. Alix then sent us a detailed proposed itinerary, and after a 2nd call with Alix, we settled on what we would like to do. We can't say enough great things about Alix and her dedication to helping us create an awesome trip. Audley's teams in Borneo were super friendly and we saw amazing wildlife. The entire trip went so smoothly and it far exceeded our expectations thanks to Alix and Audley. We would definitely use Audley again, and have already recommended them to some of our intrepid traveler friends. Thank you Alix and Audley for an amazing Borneo experience!
