Internet did not go live on date provided
They said they'd arrange for a takeover from my previous provider but did not. I had to call to enquire and get it done. Then they gave a date of 20/3 for my broadband to be live and an engineer to visit. It did not go ahead. I had to call to enquire what was wrong- date pushed back to 24/3 (oh, and the engineer wouldn't come either. I was sat at home waiting until I phoned). Called again on 24/03. Was told it can go live up to 5 pm that day I had to wait. Waited. It did not go live. Called again on 25/3 only for them to admit there was a fault and they'd arrange an engineer to come visit (earliest 27/3) and I had to be home for that. I do not have any weekdays off work for the next week. The engineer cannot visit on weekends. They cannot give me a time for when they will come so I can arrange for a short leave from work- just a 5 hour window where they can pop up anytime. It's not enough for them to be able to get into the property, someone needs to be present for the visit. This is ridiculous. I am left without a broadband connection and without anyone being capable of sorting things in a timely manner. Avoid!! Would have gone for Virgin Media on a heartbeat if they provided at my current address! Update: They were able to sort out the issue in the next few days. Provided the next month of subscription free as recompense. Excellent customer service however, internet speed is not great. I have a ring camera for when I am away from home and there have been many times where it would not capture an event because of poor internet connection (never had this issue with my previous supplier). Have had issues with Netflix/PrimeVideo and other websites loading as well.
