I ordered £900 in holiday currency via Special Delivery with Royal Mail, but it never arrived—and now my local depot has opened an investigation. While I understand the sender isn’t at fault, I’m still out of pocket with no workable solution. The generic, condescending responses I’ve received have been completely unhelpful, and I’ve been told to wait a week just to file a claim, then up to 30 days for Royal Mail to investigate. Avoid ordering currency online—this experience has been a disaster.
