Unauthorized billing/ improper deductions on the account
I was a Lyca customer few years ago and had great experience with them. Based on my earlier experience, I ordered for another lyca sim in the month of August 2024. It was high data plan with an offer , making it to 12$ per month. I didn’t use it as my other network started working fine, realized and called to cancel the line on November 2024. Associate who spoke to me mentioned he would cancel the line and place a refund for unused months( this came out voluntarily from associate). Again in the month of Feb, 2025 I noticed a charge of 51$ on my credit card. Later verified happening even after submitting a cancellation request in Nov, 2024. When spoke to the customer care, seems my earlier cancellation request wasn’t approved(I wasn’t notified at all). And a new plan amount was charged. Requested associate to connect me to their supervisor which took forever. I have multiple issues with Lyca: 1. Improper or false communication. 2. Customer care availability/ assistance and time system takes to connect to a customer service. 3. Unauthorized billing/ improper deductions on the account. I would have rated ‘0’ if there was an option to do. Lyca should start valuing their customers. I am never going to be using/recommending Lyca again.
