When I raised this concern, customer service repeatedly referred me to vague internal policies and refused to take responsibility. Every response felt scripted, anonymous, and designed to deflect rather than resolve. I was told that management wouldn’t be available until after tax season — which, given the urgency of the situation, felt like a convenient way to avoid accountability. What’s most disappointing is the lack of transparency and customer-centric thinking. For a service marketed to non-U.S. residents — many of whom rely heavily on trust and clarity when dealing with the IRS — this experience was anything but reassuring. I’ve requested a refund and will be seeking alternative providers moving forward. If you’re considering using this service, I recommend reading the fine print very closely and preparing for zero flexibility if anything goes wrong.
