I recently registered with Kraken…Account Locked After Deposit – Funds Withheld
I recently registered with Kraken thinking it would be a good and reliable platform to trade crypto in Canada. I first tested the platform with a $50 CAD transfer, and everything worked perfectly. Because of that, I added $1,000 CAD and purchased Litecoin. As soon as I tried to withdraw the Litecoin to my Ledger wallet, I received an email saying my account needed a 24-hour review. After waiting more than 48 hours, Kraken completely locked my account and instructed me to withdraw all funds back to my bank instead. The problem is that when I attempted to withdraw, the money was never sent. My account remains locked, and my funds are stuck with no clear resolution. This has been a horrible experience, especially for a new customer. After this happened, I noticed many similar complaints from other users. I do not recommend Kraken based on my experience.
