Sixt Venice Airport - Avoid
Booked a Fiat Tipo Station Wagon online. On arrival they notified me that no Tipo was available and said that I could only take a Fiat 500L, stating that it was in the same category- this was a blatant lie. There's not much you can do when you arrive in the evening and have two very tired young children after 12 hours of travel. I complained through their standard complaints channel and they admitted that they had supplied wrong car due to 'breakdowns'. However, invoiced for the booked car (Station Wagon) and recovered that amount despite me disputing the invoice. Sixt 'customer services' have chosen not to respond and just take the money for a service they did not provide. Quite despicable really.
