‘Hertz’ car rental, always book off site for better deal
Hi, have you found like we have, Orlando airport car hires have in some cases trebled. We flew into Melbourne airport. We needed 2 cars for our party one to be a minivan. My daughter booked the van which came to £1600. 🤦♂️ That was Hertz. I then found the minivan off airport site for £555. This was at Hertz N.Harbor Melbourne. The staff were very, cars were perfect. Return was very smooth as well. I asked why the same company had such big price differences, and was told Hertz at the airport is a franchise so charge what they like. We did stay in a hotel for one night, as the off site Hertz shut at 17:00. If we all boycott the airport rentals, they’ll have to match off site prices.
