Misleading advertising...no replacement of parts!
I decided to use Lube Mobile for convenience. Bad decision. The original booking was to come to my place of work between 10.00 am and 12.00pm. Waiting...waiting...so I called only to be told it would be between 12 and 2. Waited...waited....so I finally called and organised for another day at my house. I chose the $1000.00 comprehensive service as I had been driving for a few weeks prior to the car sitting unused for 12 months. The car is now running WORSE than before the service which was to include the services checks and adjustments to the vehicle. Nothing was replaced, air filter, fuel filter, oil filter due to the above misleading advertising....check, adjust and service, no word of replacement. The fuel filter was not replaced as I specifically asked Adam, the mechanic. I was given a "free" 1/2 bottle of fuel system cleaner. Adam told me that the timing chain needed replacing. He called Mercedes and ordered the parts, gave me a cost and a tentative replacement time at their Meadowbrook workshop for the following week. Next I hear is that parts can't be sourced and didn't hear from him again. I emailed Adam about the poor performance of the car since the service. I have the coolant low warning light going off, taillight and brake light warning light going off and the car is "missing" upon acceleration. I have paid $1000.00 to have a guy look under the bonnet, tell me my windscreen wipers needed changing, along with 2 tyres. THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE $1000.00 SERVICES IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF BECAUSE THERE IS NO MENTION OF THE WORD REPLACE. Every service I have had includes the replacement of air, oil and fuel filters along with spark plugs. Who needs a sump oil washer replaced? I am reporting this Company for misleading advertising. I figure the labour was $490.00 an hour, sump oil washer $5.00 because nothing was replaced, except the wipers that cost me more.
