Service good despite less than optimal outcome
Turns out that the Fruity version has very little functionality, and 'upgrading' to a licensed version of FL Studio from the demo version means that the product overall is less capable than before. BE AWARE that the demo version is close to being equavelent to the All Plugins Edition apart from the ability to save and restore your work (this is infact explained somewhere on the FL Studion website). I contacted Image Line via their support page and received a reply explaining the licensing model. The support was polite and timely, so no complaints there.
