Amazing Cabin....BUT
This was an amazing Cabin! The scenery was beautiful! We had an awesome stay plenty of room. We had trouble with the heat downstairs but the maintenance man was quickly sent to work on it. When we got ready to leave in the midst of all the chaos of getting the last picks and videos, my guest put her pillow and blanket down on the couch. We departed and half way home she realized she left her things. We called back because after looking through all the cars with no luck. We looked to see if the last video I took as I was walking out the door showed anything. The pictures showed the items on the couch along with the last video. My guest called and spoke to someone knowing that she had to pay to get her things back but didn't care. The items a handmade blanket Dallas Cowboys and a massage pillow. She was told that the housekeeper would be informed about the items. Well, she called a few days later and was told that another family came right after us. My guest asked so you didn't clean the house with COVID-19 pandemic the person responded yes I meant the housekeeper didn't find anything. The person stated that the housekeeper saw some items but thought they belonged to the house and that there isn't any way of knowing what belongs to the home. My guest replied that there is an inventory list and description of the home because the maintenance man had it. She also replied that anyone can take whatever they wanted from the house. I know that whoever got the blanket and pillow had a nice Christmas gift! Word to the wise check and double check wherever you vacation for your items because everyone isn't honest about returning things especially the people working for CCR. James
