A great experience, a happy lady and savings made!

A great experience from arriving at the showroom in Whitney to sitting at my breakfast bar admiring the wonderful kitche we now have. There was no pressure when I went into the showroom, the staff that were there smiled and said hello and pointed to the best way to navigate the area to get in all of the kitchens on display. What a choice and with various different components, ie worktop, flooring, sink, handles or handless. If anything there was too many options, such a nice change, and a very well thought out layout. It was lovely to have a drinks and snack area where we could help ourselves and sit and ponder which we preferred. Having the online planner was a gamechanger to help plan the layout and ensure that the items fitted where I wanted them to go. The emails going back and forth with any questions or suggestions by the team was flowing within a few hours most of the time. I was kept upto date on the delivery and checking all was ok a couple of weeks beforehand. Although my delivery was delayed from 8pm one evening to 11am the next morning (due to traffic) I was kept up to date over the phone. Unfortunately while putting the tall units into the room one of the ceiling lightshades was broken but with a quick email and photo payment was made immediately to cover the cost. There was a door that was slightly damaged but again this was rectified within a couple of days and didnt delay us moving back into our lovely kitchen. The whole team have been a delight to communicate with, from the showroom, online and delivery. The quality of the kitchen is exceptional, so much better than those we were looking at before discovering DIY Kitchens. It was great to have everything under one roof, units, sinks, appliances (with deals!) etc. This helped wiht the coordination of what needs to arrive and be installed first. I was amazed at the colour options too for the painted doors, every colour and shade you can imagine and some you would never dream of! We have a kitchen that is solid, hard wearing, stylish, modern and extremely easy to cleans. As to the cost - that is one of the biggest bonus' - we saved over £12,000 by using DIY Kitchens compared to the cheaper options we were quoted for. We were so please we were back online within weeks to kit out our utility so it matches the kitchen. Now we have the kitchen of our dreams and couldnt be happier. I love showing any visitors we have as we only get 'fabulous' 'wow' 'this is beautiful' comments and some have asked for details of where did I go. Well done and a big thank you!
