Slowest refund processing I've ever experienced plus they didn't fully refund. A postage cost was deducted which I can't explain but lesson learned.

A bad experience with Atterley. I received some boots and one of them let in water near the sole. I emailed Atterley (it took the boutique these were purchased from 9 days to reply) and I was told: "these are a standard leather boot and not in any way waterproof. It is entirely possible during wet weather they could let in water as they have no waterproof lining. Given this information, I'm afraid we are not able to accept the return for a refund or exchange" The issue is a hole near the sole of the left boot. There are no problems with the leather/lining etc and the other boot is fine. I have boots which are not fit for purpose and I've been informed that I can't send them back. I was under the impression that faulty products can be returned by the consumer so the manufacturer can check any problems raised.
