Unfair Auto-Renewal and No Refund Policy
I was charged for an auto-renewal I didn’t authorize, even though I hadn’t used the app for over a month. The subscription was made through EWA’s website and paid via Apple Pay, but there was no clear warning or easy way to cancel it through my Apple ID. When I contacted support and explained that I’m currently unemployed and hadn’t used the app, I received a copy-paste response saying renewals are “not technically refundable.” This feels more like an excuse than a real limitation. I’m really disappointed with how this was handled — no flexibility, no understanding, just a hard “no.” Be careful before subscribing.
