My EE experience and suggestion on how to get your money back.
I have been chasing a refund for my father who switched suppliers back in Oct and left EE. I've tried to ring and get through several times but gave up, it's not worth the effort, time or energy. Here is my recommendation to get back money owed. 1. Firstly avoid joining this awful company in the first place. 2. Email EE customer complaints outlining the problem and provide timescales and the action you are proposing to take. 3. Use the DD refund scheme to claim back any unauthorised payments made after switching suppliers. Its quick and easy to do. Just contact your bank. 4. Then use the Government online claims scheme to claim back what you are owed. There is a cost but you can add this to the claim along with interest. I have managed to get back the unauthorized DD's back and although I don't yet have the balance of money owed I do now have final statements, (coincidentally on the day which is the deadline the court have given them to respond to the claim!). Don't panic, use the tools and options that are available. Good luck.
