Thanks Lube Mobile for the excellent service

Wanted to give a big thank you to Rony(Van A25) who recently came to inspect & repair the parking brake lever in my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I had previously had the lever replaced by another reputable mechanic as it wasn’t working, who installed the lever but could not get it to operate properly despite having my car for 10 days. Even after having my vehicle for the 10 days they finally recommended that I replace all 3 cables in the parking brake assembly at a cost of $2.5k as the cables had to be imported from the USA. Due to the high cost quoted I wanted to seek a second opinion to confirm the mechanics advice and contacted Lube Mobile who sent Rony out to inspect my vehicle. To my absolute amazement after inspecting my vehicle for a mere 15 minutes Rony was able to identify that the newly installed lever was in fact perfectly fine but due to a metal clip being jammed between the lever and the front cable the lever could not operate. This metal clip apparently being part of the packaging for this lever which should have been removed by original mechanics. Once removed by Rony the parking brake lever operated as it should. Couldn’t more highly recommend Rony for his excellent service in being able to firstly identify this issue so quickly, but also for his honesty in not trying to overcharge me for a simple repair which may have been the case with a lot of other mechanics.
