Bryan Robson Night
Had a good night at the Bryan Robson event in Glasgow but one thing happened that I thought was in poor spirit and puts me off the company a bit. During the auction my friend bid £100 for a David May signed shirt. They (Alan Keegan) were obviously expecting a bit more and tried to drive it up which is fair enough. No one else was for taking it so instead of selling it to my friend for £100 (which tbh is a fair price for that) they discarded the item from the auction and refused to let it go. I know there's margins to be made and all that but I thought that was poor. They made plenty off other items.
