Don´t buy anything from Marriott Vacation Club

1. Having a week in a resort? Very costly, Maintenance fees getting higher every year and are more or less equal to the fees, you have to pay, when you are not an owner. So why to pay 10 thousands for a week? 2. Unfortunately we had decided in addition for the Destination Point program. Don´t do this: They promise flexibility, but you rarely get a change to book, what you want. And the points finally expire. 3. Want to resale your shares? There is almost no market for the ownership weeks. The sales team promised, that Marriott will rebuy a week, when necessary. Feedback of Marriott: We don´t have re-purchasing programs at all, unless more than 95% of the resorts are sold out. But this is not the case at all. Proposal of Marriott: You can cancel your week(s), than you don´t have to pay anymore the maintenance fees. But your investment in one week? Has a value of 0€! They basically ask you to buy a week for ten thousands of Euro, and than cancel it at 0€. Unbeliefable! 4. Marriott as a company seems is profit oriented. That´s not a problem. But, definitively a problem is, that this company is not at all customer oriented. Very process driven. A voice of a customer is a disturbing issue, but doesn´t change the system. Very nice people try to calm you down. But very strict rules in favour of Marriott, but not in favour of people, who want to spend uncomplicated holiday weeks.
