Unacceptable sales tactics
Called to ask whether they could resolve why we were not showing as eligible for full fibre (which is in the street but not connected to our house yet.) They tell me they can supply it and try to book me a slot to provide a 1000Mb. I'm suspicious that there's no speed guarantee and only 100Mb upload, and it turns out it isn't full fibre at all, its fibre to the cabinet. Openreach's website clearly shows that we don't have full fibre and our FTC line can only support 76Mb (and in fact we just had an Openreach engineer visit, and it can only support 30.) Clearly they are just trying to sell something at all costs regardless that its completely clear that it will never deliver anything close to what they're "estimated".
