Athens/Tolo in Greece May/June 2024.
Went on a trip to Athens/Tolo in Greece in May/June. Just the right temperature, upper 20’s for most days. Collected at Athens airport and brought to hotel. Met with travel guide who had en encyclopedic knowledge of Greece and its history. Spent a day at the Acropolis followed by a day in Delphi. Then 4 nights in Tolo going via the Temple of Apollo and Corinth. Both hotels were excellent as we have come to expect with the Travel Department. Over the week our tour guide also gave us background information on Greece’s WW2 history and atrocities, which we were largely unaware of, as we passed various monuments and memorials. Bus drivers and buses were excellent too. Overall an excellent holiday. Thank you Travel Department.
