Great food, bad service
We went to S&S on the 5th of October. It was my 50th birthday. I've been to S&S Wimbledon many times. When going to a restaurant, one assumes they should make customers feel like they are having a special occasion? The food definitely ticks that box, but the service doesn't. We felt like we were an inconvenience to the waiters. I got this feeling the last time we were there also. There was 4 of us, myself, my wife and 2 young children and the bill was £169 and the service was a chunk of that, that I shouldn't have paid. I'm not being precious, but it felt like a wasted special occasion. A real shame, but I doubt I'll be going there again.
