Our second time using Mary Monson
The Swinton business has gone down hill because of a lack of staff who are handling "60 cases each". The first time we used Mary Monson our solicitor was Tanya who helped us with the purchase of a house. She was a conscientious person who was empathetic with our circumstance and kept us updated all of the way through the process. Flash forward two years and we can't even remember our solicitor's name. They NEVER called us to keep us up to date (process lasted 6 months), the only call we had from them was two hours before we were set to complete/move house... "You need to pay us another £250 if you want to complete". How incompetent do you have to be? 1) not getting the finances right in time 2) forcing someone to pay that amount on the day of their move 3) never apologising for negligence and lack of care Honestly, if you're looking for a solicitors who will take the stress out of your move, this is not the firm for you. Really, really awful.
