Their customer service definitely leaves a lot to be desired. Placed an order for delivery on 25/6. On 27/6, there was still no delivery or update on the order. I had to chase up DPD (who are useless) and then Musclefood to find out what was going on. Musclefood eventually got back to me to say unfortunately due to “logistical issues” DPD could no longer deliver and they’d disposed of the parcel due to it being perishable. Whilst it may not be directly Musclefood’s fault, DPD are their chosen carrier, and this is actually the second time this has happened in the space of a few months. Last time I was offered a measly £5 voucher as an apology - and that was only because I asked for compensation as I had to go out and stock up on things whilst waiting for the delayed order. £5 doesn’t even cover the delivery charge. This time they offered a massive £10 voucher - again, only because I asked for compensation. I asked about a partial refund to be told they couldn’t do that. I suspect they mean “won’t” rather than “can’t”. Wouldn’t recommend using them at the price they charge for the total lack of reliability they offer. They’ve re sent out the package “as early as possible”. Which apparently is Wednesday - a full week after the order was supposed to be delivered. Really poor.
