Medicare Healthy Benefits

I love Giant Stores and have been shopping at Giant for many years. In the last year I have received healthy benefits from my Medicare insurance plan. This plan helps pay for groceries. I shop at the Lititz Kissel Hill store. From the very moment I used this benefit card I've had to put up with one snide remark after another from cashiers and managers alike. Examples would be, "I wish I had that card" to "It must be nice," or just a snit attitude. It's unfair, unprofessional, and uncalled for. The customers who have these benefits are old, sick, or both. And I guarantee that any of us would rather be younger, healthier, and working full time anyday over having this "benefit." I've felt humiliated, embarrased, and even shameful at times when I use this card. Recently it wasn't working and I've had to walk away from my groceries or pay out of pocket with money that was for other expenses. It was awful and the attitude I got was even more terrible. I left crying. Please train your people on proper etiquette and manners. They are being uneducated in how things are and judgmental to people who are struggling. To shame them on top of it, is irresponsible and close minded. Thank you.
