Shocking service

Shocking service, purchased my property in 2019, moved in January 2020, received a letter exposing they have taken ownership of the site from Abbey Homes on the 1st of November 2022. I’ve been disputing my service charges for the last 2 years prior to November 1st as they had done nothing on the site at all as it was still under Abbey Homes ownership. They have now refused to speak with me and informed that my case is with debt collectors. So do my delight today I receive a letter from the debt collector demanding a total of just under £800, threatening to take me to court, all sorts of additional fees from both Crabtree and the debt collector. And now they are not service charges, but rent charges. For what?? They have done absolutely nothing on this site until the 1st of November. So why should anyone be paying them anything until then?
