Amazing trip to Vietnam, great VFM but disappointed with guide and food…
Amazing trip to Vietnam and great value for money. However, our guide could have been more informative, he lacked enthusiasm and wasn’t very engaging. The language barrier was a bit of an issue. So disappointed that we didn’t get to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Ming as the queues were too long! All of the hotels were top notch but the “set menus “ for lunch and dinner were only mediocre and we ended up going off the set menus most evenings . One of our coaches lacked adequate ventilation. I believe our experience would have been greatly enhanced if we had a better guide and if we had buffets rather than set menus for the inclusive meals!
