BAD BAD BAD!!
BAD BAD BAD!!! How to turn young people off school and education!! My 10 year old son is set Khan academy for his homework every week. The videos are far too long, use techniques which are too long winded. The chat in between is tedious. My son switches off from it straight away - he HATES it. My older son was Ok with it but if you are not strongly academic it is terrible. And the fact is it is American and we are in the UK means students are learning the wrong spellings of things. When the tutors write things they put capital letters in the wrong places too. The names and scenarios they use are not easy to digest either. It's soul destroying when he gets one wrong and has to start again. Khan Academy please think about the range of students you are providing for. I am a teacher of 20 years and I would NEVER teach in the way you do. Appalling!
