Why do they want to access a non-existant meter??
1. I haven't had a gas supply for a couple of years now. 2. I have repeatedly over that time received emails from 'Morrison Data Services' saying that British Gas (the supplier who removed my meter) need a meter reading. 3. I contacted BG about this and they said they knew nothing about this and had no connection with MDS. 4. Now I have had a card pushed through my door requiring me to phone a mobile phone number (07936 788 748) 'to avoid an estimated bill'. Just let them try to bill me!! 5. I have checked the company website and they have no means of contacting them other than an online form (no company phone number, no email address, etc). 6. I regard this behaviour to be HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS and (even though it is tempting to get them to have to clear away all the stuff in front of the meter cupboard, only to discover there is no meter!) they will not be getting through my door and I will not be phoning this suspicious mobile number (which has been reported on various online 'suspicious number' sites).
