Marion was the sales rep that attended…

Marion was the sales rep that attended for our initial appointment at 6pm. We were expecting this to be 1-2hrs maximum however we had a whole 'schpiel' to be given which seems like a similar procedure to the many other reviews on here of their experience. At first was lovely to get a bit of background information for windows,the company as a whole and the materials. However he did not end up leaving until 10:30!! and that was after many times of telling him no im not making a decision today. Understandably sales is always like this but we were just shocked at the long 4 and 1/2 hour appointment which was so unnecessary, we had to wait to eat our dinners until about 9pm. The measuring itself and quotes only took 15 minutes of this whole appointment. We were being informed of the company, their sales tactics, advertisement/marketing ways and their competitors, which is great but highly unnecessary. Whenever asking direct questions as such 'how much would it be for X amount windows instead of the full house?' we would be given a long winded answer and diverted back to another different topic, totally unrelating. Seen similar reviews here also that their sales reps always go with 'what do you think' etc for prices. This was supposedly a 'No obligation quote' however the sales rep that came to speak with us was very pushy, I had said no at least 4x and had to point out blank say 'im not making a decision tonight' Just concerned for others that could be easily pressured into signing documents on the spot to be wary of these people. We were quoted to start with £26k for 8 windows and 2 doors, which shockingly dropped to £18k after a phone call to the office. Consistently telling us that we are saving a lot, however comparisons online showing us that this is ridiculous. Whole demeanor and experience just felt very untrustworthy. Be wary.
