Victimized
My daughter and I paid for a trip for Europe trip for March 2020 Spring Break Week and due to Covid, it was postponed. March was when it all fell apart in the U.S. with Covid. Fast forward to today, our Europe trip was rescheduled for June 2021 and was cancelled /postponed since Europe is closed till after July? ACIS offered us refund with $1000 in the form of a voucher( enhanced refund policy). I understand the issue of having to reschedule, but why would you give me a voucher. My daughter graduated high school last week? WE can go in 2022 or 2023. Meanwhile you held $8000 for little bit more than a year, kept $2000 for a trip I don't want a voucher I said. They sent me a voucher. Why? The issue is not the cancellations, the issue is their business practices are just wrong. I have requested to speak to a manager, a supervisor but no one has called me. Instead I receive an email with the same beginning line, " I understand your frustration," I am out $2000. Covid is a unique situation and merits an exception. I am so disappointed in how this issue is being handled. I don't doubt that they provide an excellent travel experience however, I feel like ACIS has taken advantage of the situation. I have been victimized.
