Economy Energy are Daylight Robbers
I too am another one waiting on hundreds of pounds to be refunded from Economy Energy. I contacted them in the summer to ask for my Direct Debits to be stopped temporarily as i had sufficient credit built up to cover a few months payments, did this happen? No. Each time I contact them i am met with the same pre rehearsed script, 'new refund process being put in place, your refund is sitting on a spreadsheet waiting to be processed'. Have you ever heard such nonsense!! This company is basically robbing people of their money. Any credit should be refunded at the annual review but this did not happen either. I'm sure a certain TV programme would be very interested in highlighting this company's rogue tactics. Avoid this firm like the plague. I wonder if EE's staff are receiving their wages from the money we are all due? Hope they are all looking for new jobs. Waiting in anticipation from their automated robot Kara to reply to this!
